SA: Jacob's Creek chardonnay wins best export wine of 2001-02
A Jacob's Creek limited release chardonnay has been acclaimed as Australia's best exportwine for 2001-02.
The 2000 Jacob's Creek chardonnay has won the annual George Mackey Memorial Trophy,announced at the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation's annual general meeting in Adelaidetoday.
The chardonnay, produced by Orlando Wyndham, was the pick of the almost 10,000 winesinspected by the corporation in the past year.
