NSW: Chadbourne seeks legal advice on his sacking
New South Wales Police's most senior public servant has sought legal advice over hissudden sacking.
Dr EDD CHADBOURNE, former head of human resources, was dumped without warning on Tuesdayafter more than two years in the role.
Dr CHADBOURNE says there are a range of options open to him but he hasn't yet decidedwhich one to take.
He says he has retained the services of barrister LINDA MCSPEDDEN and solicitor JENNY BULL.
He says his meeting today was positive and he feels comfortable with what's been discussed.
Dr CHADBOURNE says he recruited his legal team several weeks ago to act on his behalfregarding any issues that might arise in the Police Integrity Commission.
Meanwhile, the PIC says it is concerned about Dr CHADBOURNE's allegations that hissacking was a result of him giving unfavourable evidence at the commission against PoliceCommissioner PETER RYAN.
