Thursday's heavy snowfall canceled Albany's plans to review the way it handles a snow emergency.
Special Deputy Commissioner of Public Works Michael J. Alvaro said that with the city's second declared snow emergency in effect, officials canceled a 1 p.m. meeting and put off their discussion of the fledgling snow plan until Monday.
With the plan again in effect as of 8 p.m. Thursday, "Everyone is going to get a little sleep for tonight," Alvaro said.
